Local Scholarships
Missouri Sheriffs Association
- Must be in good standing with the school
- Must have a good reference from the counselor
- Should be involved in extra-curricular activities
- Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA;
- Demonstrate financial need; and
- Be persuing a degree in Criminal Justice
- Must attach a paragraph detailing goals 10 years after high school
- Amount: $1,000
- Deadline: January 31

Dr. J. B. and Mrs. Isabella Bisceglia Scholarship Fund
- Graduating high school seniors in the Greater Kansas City area who intend to continue their education at a two or four year college/university or a technical school.
- Preference will be given to students who are members of Christ Presbyterian Church, Kansas City, Missouri, members of the First Haitian Fellowship at Christ Presbyterian Church or students at Scuola Vita Nuova Charter School.
- These scholarships will be supplemental for students who have already earned academic scholarships.
- Consideration will be given to financial need and the student's work and community service record.
- Students must continue to attend classes and keep a 2.0 grade point average (or equivalent).
- Student interviews may also be required

Black Scholarship Fund
Provides undergraduate scholarships to African-American students at University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Candidates must have graduated from local high schools and reside in Greater Kansas City.
Eligibility:
African-American students from Kansas City area high schools who will be attending the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
